For the past 16 years our family has been living off the grid with only solar and wind power to run our home. Back in 1994 we began a search to find alternative energy options that we could afford.

You see our family is no different than yours. We are just regular people who just want to make a difference in their lives. Our main goal in setting up this project was to lower our electricity costs. It is getting very expensive out there so we figured out a way to beat it... and now we want to show you how to do the very same thing.
